Participation at the 5th International Wildland Fire Conference, Sun City 9-13 May 2011
Dear Jonny and Julie,
Thank you so much for being part of our conference. The participation of the Rhythm
Workshop at our event helped make it a very memorable experience for our delegates. The
song you composed and performed with 900 of our fire fighters at the opening ceremony
made hardened fire fighters from across the world get a lump in their throats. It has also
created an anthem for our 3000 fire fighters which they will be singing with pride for years to
come.
 The live music you performed at the Welcoming Event set a truly African tone for the rest of
the week and created the perfect ambience for all the participants to mingle and network.
Thank you also for suggesting the Musical Tubes for the opening ceremony. It was such an unusual experience;  getting all the delegates to participate along with our fire fighters created a sense of unity which carried through the whole week.

Hi Julie,
Just a thank you note to once again say just how much everyone enjoyed the Interactive Tubes. The Rhythm Workshop definitely gets an A rating from us. The session was not only fun, but really showed what beautiful music we can make when we work together, and we want to thank you for the providing us with that insight. We are still getting positive feedback from staff regarding how it was the perfect start to the event as well as warming them up from the cold winters day. You and your team were friendly and easy going and did not stick rigidly to a schedule but kept changing the beat depending on the mood of the room. That sure kept everyone on their toes, both from tapping to the beat and from trying to keep up with you :)

  Dear Rhythm Workshop CANCER SURVIVOR’S DAY 2006 I just want to say thank you for an experience that was really the heart and soul of the success of Cancer Survivor’s Day 2006. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive. You certainly created an atmosphere of being part of a group creating synergy and cooperation between cancer survivors, family members and staff. At a very deep level it moved people’s spirits and I certainly felt deeply emotional taking part in that special interactive session. You really moved the hearts and souls of the people attending this workshop and have set a precedent that I am not sure that we could ever re-attain.
